The Illinois Department of Transportation is asking the public for guidance on the design and construction of a new footbridge over the Chicago River in Southern Illinois. The results are due by December, with a final decision expected by the end of the year or early next year.
The oil painting course shares Shepherd's concerns for conservation and meets twice a week, on the first Tuesday of the month from 10.30am at the Shepherd School of Art. The material is included in the course fee, which is $5 for the oil painting course and $10 for all other courses since the beginning of school. In October and November it will be exhibited at Shepherd for two weeks, and again in November and December.

The geographical coordinates of South Holland are for the purpose of this report, but the topography of the 2 miles around it is essentially flat. The area within 2 miles of it covers an area of about 2.4 square kilometers and is covered by the Chicago River, the Illinois River and Lake Michigan.

He is currently an associate professor at the College and was Professor of Art History at Southern Illinois University - Urbana - Champaign from 1983 to 1991.
He has also been a juror at many trade show exhibitions and is a member of the board of directors of the Chicago Art Museum and the Illinois State Museum of Art.
In this program, sponsored by the Town and Country Art League, he will show how to make monoprints with oil paint. The event will begin at the Palos Heights Recreation Center, located on the second floor of the park, 3100 W. Main St. in Palo Heights, at 7 p.m. The Fotoclub Rap presents an Easter bazaar with arts and crafts on Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to noon in the City Hall Park. There will be a slide show with pictures by local artists and members of the photo club, as well as an Easter egg hunt, an arts and crafts market and a children's art competition, all in honour of Easter. PalOS Heights "program includes arts, crafts, music, food and other activities for children and adults that are free.
From Tuesday to 15 April it will be on view in the Art Gallery of the Munster City Library. Artists and craftsmen are invited to participate in an arts and crafts market in summer sponsored by the Park and Leisure Centre Münster, from 15 to 15 August, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in the City Hall Park.
